I just found out that I will be coming to Shanghai for the web 2.008 Conference. I am very much looking forward to sharing information with other Fine Arts teachers.
Art Taipei is closing tomorrow evening, it was a great opportunity to meet individuals from galleries all over the world. You will have the Shanghai Art Fair the week before the conference, too bad the rest if us will miss it by a few days.
Do you think our group might have time to visit museums or galleries that are dealing with art & technology?
This weekend I met a gallery representative from Shanghai that has some incredible video work of Bill Viola. I believe that the piece was shown at the MoMA last summer. If time allows, perhaps we could all take a trip to the gallery or invite him to meet with us. If you think it might be a possibility I will send along the information or would be happy to contact him myself.
