Hi Jabiz,
I was in a session with you in Shanghai. I didn't attend the unconferenced session on social justice, but it sounds very interesting. I just sent you site to my 16 year old son. He is interested in raising money for a library in Indonesia. I work at the Jakarta International School.

I started my career teaching English in Mozambique with the US Peace Corps. I moved on to high school ESL in the Bronx, while working with the Peace Corps Fellows program at Columbia.
I taught one year of elementary ESL and two years of middle school Language Arts in Malaysia and a year of Humanities at the American School of Doha. I am currently working as the K-5 ESL teacher/coordinator at Compass International School in Doha.
I have a passion for using technology in as many different ways as I can in my classroom, and in my extra time I facilitate an online class designed to work with students from around the world to help them become politically and environmentally aware and active.
