Presently I am an Educational Technology Consultant. Prior to consulting I was a technology coordinator for several years at Laurel School for Girls in Shaker Heights, Ohio , and before that a classroom teacher. I am interested in girls learning styles and how we as educators can create learning environments that take advantage of the differences in gender and learning. I am committed to finding ways to encourage girls confidence in math, science, and technology. The past few months have found me working with staff and faculty on STEM integration around the State of Ohio. I also develop curriculum that integrates technology concepts for museums here in Cleveland. I am committed to a constructivist classroom environment. Additionally I am the Event Coordinator for the Cleveland FIRST Lego League Competition after having been a coach for an all girls team for 5 years.
Also I am a big Donnie Iris and the Cruisers fan, yes they are better than ever. I follow every Cleveland Indians game, and of course my alma mater- Ohio State!
