Don't Miss Out on the Atomic Learning Group Purchase Program!!!

Sorry to have to bug people via the ning but the vendor hall was not very successful at the conference.

A good number of schools in the Asian region already use Atomic Learning to support a more "democratic" learning mode where students have access to tutorials on every piece of software imaginable. This allows a teacher to set a task and focus on the learning outcomes knowing that students who do not know how to embed their video on their blog page o… Continue

Learning Solutions Asia Presentations Today

During Session 9 in Room MS405 Louise Johns and Paul McMahon will feature Softease, which are products used in many parts of the world, especially by K-6 students. They are very kid-friendly and fantastic to use. There are two great new additions to the product set. Podium is a tool that makes podcasting on the Windows platform as easy to use as Garage Band on the Mac. Honeycomb is a hosted wiki and blog solution that allows really young students all of the collaboration and sharing of web2.0 in… Continue

Don' miss the Amazing Data Management Platform for Schools Pressentation at Learning 2.0 08 Conference!

Every school at the conference has an interest in the management of data in the organization. Whether it be ensuring that the online formative assessments are available at report writing time or your class is able to be called up via an online timetable to message them all asking them to bring their reference books to the next lesson, you need to be able to get all of the digital information in the one place where it can be accessed and organized.
This was essentially the problem faced on a lage… Continue

Don't miss the Atomic Learning Offer

Atomic Learning is being represented at the conference through its representative in the area, Learning Solutions Asia. It was hoped to have a very enthusiastic teacher from Hong Kong come and present on how she uses the AL movies for learning in her classes. Unfortunately, she could not secure funding from her school to travel to Shanghai. Instead Paul from Learning Solutions and a teacher himself, will give an overview (unless another enthusiastic teacher volunteers in the meantime.) It is ses… Continue

Dont Miss Your Last Chance to See the IP Board

It has been a great conference and a fantastic opportunity for sharing. A quick reminder to all of those who wanted to see the Interactive Whiteboard that is made locally in Shenzhen and exported to most parts of the world. It is a lot more affordable for schools based in China than the imported alternatives. The software is also very comprehensive but don't take my word for it! Come up to Room 223 and check it out for yourself! See you this morning. Paul

Hi Jess,

I am at the Broadway Plaza. Bummer! would have been great to share the bus ride etc. Thing about paying for yourself is that you look for the cheaper options :-)

I am playing a dual role as a part vendor, part conferee but I hope to try to catch some good sessions like yours!

I look forward to meeting up F2F.

Hello Paul
Yes, I have just booked my flights so I am definitely coming. Trouble is I am on holidays in London at the moment so it is difficult to organize everything until I get back. We have just had 3 nights in Barcelona

No worries, Paul. Looking forward to catching up with you, too, again. Time will no doubt fly between now and then :-)

Ballarat boy.

Was a keen diver in a former life. Still more comfortable knowing my way around Warnambool than around Shanghai!

Roll on September.

I will definitely make it! Just have to register and all that stuff. I'll be there with Anne. It would be great to catch up for a beverage in ol' Shanghai town. Killarney Beach and Tower Hill hey? Are you from this way?
