I see the presentation sessions are just being posted, so some of this will be cross posted there, but I've had fun creating a new web site that you will see in action at my session on
Telling Stories with Photos on the Cave Wall - aimed at some experience in communcating solely with images.
This prototype site works by creating a pool of photos that people are
tagging in the flickr site as 5cardflickr (currently at 438 photos) that is used to drive a story telling exercise where you are given 5 of these images, chosen randomly at a time, and the creative challenge is to add one of them, each round, to a set that in the end, tells a story.

If you have access to flickr, you can play with this toy now at
http://web.nmc.org/5cardstory/flickr.php. It is set up so you can save/share the created stories- as an example, see
Dreams; Or the Hazards of Napping with Cats.
Since I have been told at the conference, flickr is likely a blocked site, I will be using a variant that uses the same engine, but instead, draws from the pool of images conference participants can (and have been) uploading to the conference ning site in the
Telling Stories With Pictures Pool.
I really appreciate the activity of group members Sue Pienaar, Susan Lau, Maryann Molishus, Chris Smith, Peggy George, Jabiz Raisdana who have started off a great pool with a nice variety of images.
But I want to see a big, huge pool! Join the group, and add even just a few photos.
