- Probably just like you, I live in a classroom. A grade seven and eight classroom to be exact. I think learning spaces and teachers are on the forefront of globalisation. We see it all first. I also believe in facing this challenge head on with new ideas and new tools. No use running and hiding.
I've spoken at conferences in many places, and my classroom has been featured in newspapers, magazines and journal articles. I've also been fortunate enough to win the Prime Minister's Award; the highest award a teacher can win in Canada.

A New Space
Not having started another blog since I began writing Remote Access a few years ago, it's interesting writing here. It's like a chance to reinvent yourself. I think that is why a lot of people like writing online. You can be anyone. If you wanted to, you could write anonomously and tell complete lies to the world. Making Plans in Summer Time
The end of July approaches and I wonder about the beginning of the new school year. While this is still a month away for me, it seems that as soon as the calendar moves towards August, my brain wants to head back to school.
